Chia seeds are very oily and aromatic. They are full of anti-oxidising compounds (quercetin) and have a good fibre content. They are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, and in particular, alpha linolenic acid, which are precious aids in keeping the nervous and cardiovascular systems healthy.
