Yuzu is a citrus fruit with an aroma that is similar to grapefruit and mandarin. Its origins are subject to debate: many people believe it is a cross between a mandarin and a lesser-know citrus fruit known as the papeda fruit. Yuzu is poor in calories and contains powerful anti-oxidants, such as vitamin A, C and limonene, which helps to neutralise harmful free radicals and to reduce inflammation in the body.
